Been down in Baja at the house, K38 sure is looking good. The waves have been just outstanding as yesterday we got some double overhead waves at a little over 12 feet. Next weekend the waves are going to be even higher. The weather is in the mid to low 70's with some cloud cover to day, it's really nice. We had a great BBQ on the north end of the Campo on sunday with J-P supplying lots of fish. Ron is one hell of a chef. Below are the images from the last couple of days. If you want any of the images go over to http://travelswithshadow.smugmug.com to check them out. You can get any size print you want. If you want me to paint an image just let me know.

It's been way to long that I was able to write on this blog. I've been healing up in Tucson for the past few months and I can't wait to get back to Baja which will be happening in the middle of January. They tell me that I'm not 22 anymore that I'm 72 and should act like it but I don't think so as you have to do what you love. I love surfing, scuba diving, kayaking while photographing and painting all the action.
With lots of time on my hands I've been doing some shooting around the Tucson barrios. I hope to paint some of the images that best suits the medium. I'll put somemore up in a few days so keep an eye out.

Heading To Baja Sometime Next Week
Shadow and I are heading to Baja next week to get a little surfing in. It seens like the past two months that the surf conditions have been poor with 1 to 2 foot surf which is not good to say the least. We have had some 3 to 4 foot days but they have been few and far between. Need to go somewhere where the waves have some height and form.
I'm looking to plan a trip in the next few weeks to either the Point in San Quintin on the Pacific side to do some major surfing or go over to the Gulf of California side to do some fishing at Bahia de Los Angles. It all sounds good to me! The Point at San Quintin is a great place for both surfing and fishing. The Point is really hard to get to as you have to fourwheel it along the beach at low tide and then climb a 200 foot sand mountain. Believe me when I say it is not an easy trip to make it out to the good surfing spots. I'll put somemore pictures up on a new post of the area in a day or two.
